Where Do You Draw the Line?

Students explore the boundaries between humour and harm in online content and peer interactions. Students examine different types of memes and jokes, developing skills to identify when content crosses the line. THIS MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF...

You’ve watched how quickly ‘just joking’ becomes something that actually hurts someone, and you’ve seen how hard it is for young men to know when to say something and how. You want to give them the tools to figure that out themselves.

WHAT WE'LL COVER

● Transgressive humour & harmful content
● Bystander intervention

WHERE IT WORKS

Where Do You Draw the Line? was built for school environments, where peer culture and online content constantly push the boundaries of what’s acceptable. It also works well in nonprofit youth programs where there’s space for honest peer-to-peer dialogue.
